Saint Clair Family Estate 'Pioneer Block' Chardonnay 2013 (Cell Block) Marlborough
Whipped cream and peaches bouquet harnessing the Saint Clair message of freshness, fruit, vanilla and spice and Chardonnay. On the palate - just dry, creamy texture and firm acidity, obvious toasty oak and baking spice moments, some light tannins add further texture and stone fruit flavours of peach and fleshy nectarine add more. Balanced and well made wine - will please many a chardonnay fan.
