Palliser Estate Pinot Gris 2014 Martinborough
Lots of white fleshed orchard fruits with spiced pears and apples; a hint of lemon or grape fruit and dusting of white sugar with a hint of Asian spice. On the palate - just dry with a hint of sweetness; medium+ (ish) acidity and warmth; generous ripe white fruit flavours with pears and nectarine; very light tannins adding texture and length, hints of spice; balanced and well made with moderate complexity. Drink now and through 2017.
