Fruity, forward and lively Marlborough SB bouquet of apple and tree fruit aromas with crisp citrus/lemon skin and grapefruit, soft herb notes and a hint of mineral. On the palate - fruity and crisp with plenty of acidity balanced by moderate concentration of fruit flavors including apple and lemon, a touch of peach and soft herbs. Moderate finish and well made.

Tinpot Hut 2014 Marlborough Pinot Gris 13%
Spicy and white fruits, mineral layer and gentle Marlborough herbal attribute - a particular expression of Gris where the wine shows of its provenance with a mix of citrus and mineral + a light herb note that adds a layer of complexity. On the palate - just dry with medium weight and medium+ acidity; flavors of fresh white fleshed fruit dominate, the herb note fades into the background nicely allowing a gentle spice note to emerge; overall a tasty wine with alight cheese note on the finish.
