Elk Cove Vineyard

Elk Cove Vineyard 2014 Willamette Valley Pinot Gris 2014
Lots of lush fresh white fleshed fruit aromas with wet and juicy pear flesh, red apple flesh and a white peach suggestions, a gentle white spice adds some depth and mild complexity. On the palate - dry almost Grigio in style with flavors that reflect the nose, medium+ acidity and a hint of spice perhaps from some older oak. Fresh, crisp and dry, balanced and well made.

Elk Cove Vineyard 2014 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2012
Plenty of Pinosity and intensity in the bouquet with a seesaw swing between the oak and red fruits aromas; pomegranate, darker cherry and even some cranberry fruit suggestions; a mix of new and not so new oak; overall vibrant and enticing. On the palate - dry, frim, youthful speaks of its origins with a clay and dusty mineral layer; plenty of light red fruit flavors; medium+ chalky tannins and medium length. Overall well made and worthy of your time and investment.
