Black berries, currants, sweet plums and crushed violets, touch of saltiness adds complexity and depth - overall very complex, very young. On the palate - juicy, oaky, fresh, very fruity, tense, youthful and poised for ageing; a delicious wine with multiple layers of flavour and texture; clove and coffee bean, toast and brown baking spice moments; highish acidity and tannins; velvet texture and long finish; a complex and exciting wine to taste, well made and proving that the Bordeaux red blend has an enormous future in New Zealand.97 Points
