Misha's Vineyard

Misha's Vineyard 'The High Note' Pinot Noir 2010 Bendigo Central Otago
Complex, savoury, loaded with minerality, oak and intensity - a serious bouquet! Ripe, fresh red berry fruit aromas with a savoury cherry and plum suggestion; fine to moderate oak layer; overall alluring and inviting. On the palate - lots of tension and grip - youthful mild savoury notes and complex; fine to silky to firm tannins; medium+ acidity; flavours of red berried fruits reemerge. A complex and youthful wine that should be decanted for service or continue to cellar. Likely ideal drinking window 2017 - 2020

Misha's Vineyard 'The High Note' Pinot Noir 2009 Bendigo Central Otago
A complete and sensual bouquet of soft plush light red fruits - a mix of red cherry and strawberry; a core of schist like mineral and soft florals add layers of depth and complexity - easily missed; finely tuned use of oak. On the palate - quite complex and very texture driven with fine chalky tannin and medium+ acidity leading to flavours of light red fruits and crushed rose; a very long and fine finish. Use the right glass for this wine please - a wine that is evolving and requires focus. Food optional.

Misha's Vineyard 'Verismo' Pinot Noir 2011 Bendigo Central Otago
Fresh, lively, complex and youthful bouquet of ripe red berry fruits - quite concentrated; new and not so new oak with spice and gentle vanilla scents; a distinctive and haunting core, an echo of something - the vineyard, the moment, the vintage. On the palate - vibrant, tense, dry and complex and equally alluring as the bouquet; flavours of light red fruits, sweet rose and red apple skin; very fine yet concentrated tannins; plenty of acidity and loads of charm and elegance. The cadence then finish of this wine are delightful.
Decant for service; will mature for 10 years or more.
