Jackson Estate

Jackson Estate 'Vintage Widow' Pinot Noir 2010 14%

N: Rich, dark, velvety red fruits stroke the nose with an enticingly fruity and fullbouquet; Black cherry, black raspberry, sweet vanillin and brown spice notes; medium complexity.

P: There's no mistaking this example for anything but delicious Pinot Noir - great flavours and palate appeal; a mix of texture and tannins add complexity to the fruit signature that matches the nose; dry, long balanced and well made, a lovely wine.

Felton Road

Felton Road 'Elms' Chardonnay 2011 Central Otago 14%
N: Elegant, striking and sophisticated: A definitive bouquet of linear Central Otago mineral laden stone fruits - peach and
pear with a floral interruption; The Felton Road and Central Otago signature sing out yet there is a Chablisesque edge that I like a lotl. Noticeable yet balanced oak.

P: Immeduiately flavourful with a mix of varietal and complex Chardonnay statements: pear and peach mixed with lightly spiced vanillin oak  - creamy and slightly sweet; youthful medium+ acidity, mineral nuances add to an already gentle complexity.
Quite a long finish, balanced and beautifully made.
