Seductive ripe red fruits and baking spices with a warm and generous bouquet; old strawberry, warm raspberry and 5 spice plum suggestions with medium toasty oak qualities and generous overall expression. On the palate - youthful, tense, dry, fruity; very youthful on the palate with lots of acidity and moderate tannins still settling in; flavours of red berry fruits emerge then crushed stone, dried herb and mild oak flavours force their way into the forefront of flavour. Needs further integration time of at least a year. Decant for service with food or cellar through 2017 and try again. This wine has potential - just needs some time.

Intense bouquet of ripe red berry fruits - dark raspberry and Doris plum, blueberry and blackcurrant; heady, spicy, toasty and fragrant with plenty of oak and synergies between the oak, fruit and wine making. On the palate - intense, spicy, dry, warm and packed with pepper laced black fruit flavours; medium+ acidity and tannins add texture and energy; full-bodied, peppery and distinctive palate experience. Overall a very nice wine that is very youthful still and requires some cellar time of around 2-4 years before it should be approached again. Decant and rest for service.

Complex, savoury, loaded with minerality, oak and intensity - a serious bouquet! Ripe, fresh red berry fruit aromas with a savoury cherry and plum suggestion; fine to moderate oak layer; overall alluring and inviting. On the palate - lots of tension and grip - youthful mild savoury notes and complex; fine to silky to firm tannins; medium+ acidity; flavours of red berried fruits reemerge. A complete and sensual bouquet of soft plush light red fruits - a mix of red cherry and strawberry; a core of schist like mineral and soft florals add layers of depth and complexity - easily missed; finely tuned use of oak. On the palate - quite complex and very texture driven with fine chalky tannin and medium+ acidity leading to flavours of light red fruits and crushed rose; a very long and fine finish. Use the right glass for this wine please - a wine that is evolving and requires focus. Food optional.
