Matawhero Pinot Rose 2015 Gisborne
Fruit lead bouquet with cherry and sweet plum aromas followed by a little silty mineral tones and fragrant week-old rose petal. On the palate - light creamy texture with medium to medium+ acidity; flavours of light red fruits and roses return along with a light nougat moment; off-dry with a little sweetness; balanced and well made; totally suited to Middle-Eastern and Asian fare as well as local game bird.
