Complex, enticing and exciting bouquet of wild red and black berry fruit, tamed black fruits especially blackberry and black currant suggestions, pungent violet perfume and distinctive mix of oak and soil scents. On the palate - generous, rich, dry, ripe, fruity and full-bodied; there's much to consider with this wine - reflecting all that the bouquet suggests with plenty of acidity and tannin adding texture, depth and length to the palate. Additional flavours include suggestions of clove and licorice, baking spice and toasty vanilla. Long and complex finish - a fabulous wine!
