Mangaorapa Estate

Mangaorapa Estate Pinot Noir 2013 Southern Hawke's Bay
Lots of fruit intensity from ripe dark and cherry aromas, red apple skin, a little old strawberry jam suggestion; lots of barrel spice with toasty vanilla and some brown baking spices. On the palate - dry, firm, youthful, fruity and highly textured. Quite a youthful wine still with some dried herb flavours swimming against the flow of fruit; medium+ tannins quite fine with a mix of fruit and oak origin; overall a lovely example with plenty of length and charm. Well made.
