Palliser Estate

Palliser Estate Pinot Noir 2014 Martinborough
Generous and ripe bouquet of red berry fruits, a silty mineral almost gravelly underbelly and a fragrant varietal lift; aromas of dark cherry and plum, some fruit cake and baking spices, moderate+ (ish) oak and toasty elements. On the palate - dry, toasty, fruity and flavourful; a very youthful palate with quite a lot of tension from the acidity and tannins - a wine that requires at least another year in bottle to begin to knit together more; flavours of red cherry and plum with some darker berries and spices. Will find its balance in 12-24 months - so keep please and begin to enjoy from 2017.
