Locharburn Pinot Noir 2013 Central Otago
Very youthful appearance of dark red and cherry, almost crimson, very bright. Big fruity bouquet with aromas of raspberry and ripe cranberry, red apple skin and dark rose, moderate oak, quite forward yet balanced overall impression. On the palate - fruity, dry, juicy - lots of raspberry and red berry flavours, medium+ tannins and acidity, moderate oak. A balanced and well made wine with plenty of life ahead - decant for service today or cellar through 2018.
