Moss Wood

Moss Wood 'Wilyabrup' Pinot Noir 2013 Margaret River
Varietal, tense and poised bouquet with red berry fruit aromas of black currant and plum then cherry; there's no mistaking the impact of oak with some new barrel tones then old barrel spice layers adding complexity and depth - a little forward. On the palate - dry, firm, youthful, fruity and oaky - all the components of fine wine are here - just more cellar time is required to bring these into balance; medium to fine tannins with some grippy moments - again just more cellar and bottle development required; Medium+ length and finish. Nice wine!
