Desert Heart

Desert Heart Pinot Noir 2010 Bannockburn Central Otago 13.5%
Nose: An integrating yet youthful bouquet with fragrant with rose, red apple skin, suggestions of raspberry and dark red cherry; just enough oak spice to entice.

Palate: Every bit a 'classic' Central Otago expression with a youthful fruity attack - crisp and edgy light red fruits, a touch of dried herb - mainly thyme, a little bracken undergrouth and schist-like earthy qualities. dry with moderate chalk-like tannins and medium+ acidity. A wine for the cellar (3-5 years) or decant for service. Large balloon a must.

Desert Heart

Desert Heart 'Renaissance' Chardonnay 2012 Bannockburn Central Otago
Nose: Soft - gentle peach, creamy vanillin - and mild oak spices; sweet apple and a quiet citrus lift; overall a sensual bouquet that will capture your attention the moment you nose this wine.

Palate: The palate follows through on what the nose suggests with soft and creamy, silken textured wine; medium+ acidity adds bite to the moderate oak spice elements; stone fruit, tree and citrus flavors; overall a very satisfying Bannockburn wine - destined to please those who try.
