Nautilus Estate Methode Traditionnelle Pinot Noir Rose 2011
An elegance and precision normally associated with Champagne is presented in the bouquet of this wine; delicate, light red fruits and a subtle autolysis are insistent enough to add complexity and even a little mystery too.
The palate does indeed present an elegant wine with a just dry feel; the red fruits described above return with a little more intensity; the mousse is all about texture with a medium+ explosion then gentle push - accentuating both the high acidity and fruit flavors into a dry finish.
For me the focus is on texture and elegance with this wine and the balance is just delightful; medium+ length and complexity.
