Ripe cool climate Otago bouquet of Pinot
with ripe red cherry and plum fruits, some dried herb and whispers of wild
thyme, wild roses and layers of oak spice and oak wood, emerging complexity as
the wine opens in glass. On the palate – fruity, firm, youthful, quite complex
and dry. Flavours reflect the nose plus firm needle-point tannins, loads of
youthful acidity, great tension and some poise; well made. Drink now though
best from 2019 through 2028.
