Clearview Estate Winery 'Coastal' Gewurztraminer 2016 Hawke's Bay
Very aromatic with an intense and forward bouquet of white fleshed fruits, spices and crushed roses, alluring for sure. On the palate - fleshy, juicy and tense with the spice and acidity working to hold my attention, some residual sweetness offsets the alcohol with both adding texture and weight. Quite a long finish with a persistent flavours and a hint of sweet ginger. Great balance.
