Clos Marguerite

Clos Marguerite Pinot Noir 2012 Marlborough
Very attractive bouquet centering on aromas of earth and spice and then soft and aged light red fruits - strawberry, plum, red cherry, quite complex and appealing. On the palate - textured, flavourful, dry and precise; flavours of red berries return, medium to fine tannins, medium+ acidity and earthy crushed bark and brown spice, moderate oak with flavor and tannin before any woodiness; old rose ideas, lengthy finish.

Clos Marguerite Sauvignon Blanc 2016 Marlborough
Classic Awatere Valley scents with layers of perfume and intensity; vibrant ripe fleshy citrus and tropical fruits laced with sweet fresh herbs and dry stone mineral. On the palate - dry, salivating acidity, herbaceous and intense, grapefruit and tropical flavours, crushed stone mineral leading to a lengthy, vibrant finish. Overall balanced and well made - totally drinkable with age worthy attributes.
