Aronui Pinot Noir SV 2011 Nelson 14.5%
N: A very fruity bouquet with cranberry, light and dark
cherry and a little pomegranate/raspberry suggestion; youthful appearance and
fruit centred lift. Moderate oak influences emerge after a few minutes.
P: Drinks as the nose suggests with a bright and focused
fruit centred flavour profile – light to medium red fruits followed by some
sweet oak flavours and warming alcohol. Despite
the 14.5% ABV the wine is balanced, though suggests a drink now prescription.
