N: Plums – dark and darker; some blackberry fruit
suggestions, plenty of oak and its associated spices; a touch of stewed plum,
red flowers and violets, and cloves add complexity.
P: Dry and firm tannins followed by flavours of plum and
blackberry fruits. Oak and toasty oak brown spices add complexity. A very young
wine on the palate – will require 2 years + in the cellar or appropriate
decanting or food. Moderate finish; well made.
