A vibrant and powerful bouquet of green and golden kiwi fruit, peach blossom, hay and tropical fruit. On the palate - zesty, herbaceous and citrousy with flavors of grapefruit and lemon, some apple and mild tropical fruit flavors; grassy notes too; high youthful acidity, light weight and with a dry finish.
Overall - solid and dependable example.

Tohu 'Mugwi Reserve' Sauvignon Blanc 2013 Marlborough 13%
The blend of exotic fruits and oak spices is very appealing; ripe nutty peach and citrus aromas, oak spice with hints of vanilla, an herbaceous and grassy varietal signature beneath.
On the palate - dry - this is an oak and fruit centred expression too - SB can find great harmony with oak if measured judiciously - this is one such example, but you have to give it time in glass and not serve it too cold. Medium+ acidity balances nicely agaisnt the creamy side of the oak; balanced and well made with a medium+ finish.
