Ohui 2014 Sauvignon Blanc Coromandel Peninsula 12.5% (Organically Grown Grapes)
A distinctively different bouquet of Sauvignon Blanc with a regional signature evident in the bouquet: volcanic silty stony soil notes encased in ripe yellow peach and stone fruit aromas then as the wine begins to open up aromas of ripe pineapple and sweet citrus emerge. On the palate - juicy, ripe and just dry with flavors that reflect the nose - peach, apple and hints of tropical, a gentle herbaceous note and high(ish) acidity tick the boxes of Sauvignon Blanc. A balanced wine with plenty of fruit at its core and a medium finish.
