Tatty Bogler

Tatty Bogler 2013 Pinot Noir Otago 13.5%
A fruit centred bouquet with smashed red cherry and crushed dark cranberry; some the Otago wild thyme, undergrowth and rock suggestions and mild toasty oak influences. On the palate - dry, youthful, tart and crisp with lots of fresh fruit flavors bringing balance to some medium+ acidity, medium highly textured tannins and light toasty oak suggestions. Overall a very drinkable wine but requires some food to balance some of the youthfulness still apparent.
