Folding Hill

Folding Hill 'Orchard Block' Pinot Noir 2009 Bendigo Central Otago 14%
N: Lots of dark red berries with Schist and Friable soil aromas, white smoke and youthful oak bouquet. showing a developing complexity, but smells youthful and primary overall.

P: Dark plum and dark cherry; and nudge of chocolate and undergrowth, plenty of wood to bite into and tannins to match. Medium+ acidity, medium+ length, balanced and well made - a well put together wine. Needs a further two years to stitch together the seams – overall a very good example. Stick with food pairing for this wine through 2012.
