N: Leather, mushroom, black and red fruits and spices bouquet; a gentle yet obvious sweet vanillin oak; moderate complexity.
P: Delivers a lot more than the nose suggests: a balanced and full-bodied package of complex flavors and textures. This is how I like Schubert wines. Tempered high tannins with a chewy edge, medium acidity and leather laden fruit flavors. By the glass with cheese please! A remarkably tasty wine - very well made.
