Left Field Hawke's Bay Merlot 2013
Very ripe red fruits bouquet with freshly squeezed plum and black currant suggestions, mild oak and dark red velvet flowers. On the palate - dry, crisp, firm and fruity. A youthful bite on the palate from medium tannins and high(ish) acidity - flavors of plum and dark berries return; medium length and moderate complexity, clean fresh and well made.
