Sacred Hill 'Halo' Chardonnay Hawke's Bay 2014
Quite a complex bouquet with a mix of fresh and baked stone fruit then a tug of nutty creamy cashew oak fragrances and just a hint of complex sulphides. On the palate - juicy fresh dry and delicious with flavours that reflect the nose, plenty of oak and oak bite with some fine tannins as well; medium+ acidity and a long finish. A lovely wine that can be cellered or enjoyed through 2016.
