Leheny Gibson Chardonnay 2013 Yarra Valley (Australia)
A modern and engaging bouquet of Chardonnay with texture, shape and form as well as aromas of white peach and apple, some grapefruit, other citrus and flinty moments. On the palate - combinations of stone fruit and citrus flavours then new oak spices and flavour, great textures and structure from the acidity, alcohol and winemaking style whilst pushing the message of fruit and finish, a nutty cashew layer, softer vannilla notes and creamy lengthy finish. A lovely example. Drink now and through 2022.
