On the palate - equally youthul and fruity with red cherry, raspberry and plum flavours, medium oak tones with hints of clove sweet vanilla; a very pretty wine with fine silky tannins and medium+ acidity, balanced lengthy finish.

Ripe and forward red berry fruit aromas with a broody, light savoury complexity, toasty oak tones and primary youthful aromatics swinging between oak and fruit. On the palate - darker cherry and raspberry fruit flavours, more toasty oak with vanilla and new wood tones, fine to moderate tannins and medium+ acidity leading to a dry and somewhat lengthy finish. A wine that needs more cellar time to integrate and evolve with the potential to become a fine example of Hawke's Bay Pinot Noir.
