Sacred Hill

Sacred Hill 'Halo' Sauvignon Blanc 2015 Marlborough
Distinctively fruity bouquet with fleshy, juicy and forward aromas of apple, quince, peach and citrus; a light layer of spice and complexity. On the palate - just dry with lots of fresh fruit flavours, juicy and lush as the nose suggests; plenty of contrasting acidity keeping the palate salivating and wanting more wine; moderate complexity and lovely fresh finish. Plenty to like with this example.

Sacred Hill 'Halo' Merlot Blanc 2014 Marlborough
Juicy, fragrant and inviting bouquet of crushed black plum, dark velvet roses and inky black berry fruits; some sweet vanilla and dark wood spices. The palate reveals a plush medium+bodied wine with plenty of plum and berry fruit flavours; fine to moderate tannins and medium+ acidity; just enough core of fruit mid-palate to drink alone though food will always be welcomed by this wine. Balanced and well made - will continue to age and evolve over the coming 3-5 years. As always a well made example from the SH Stable.
