Auntsfield

Auntsfield 'Cob Cottage' Chardonnay 2014, Marlborough
Lots of ripe and pure fruit aromas with sweet lemon then peach and apple, noticeable oak with a vanilla and new wood layer, quite complex. On the palate- soft and creamy texture with high impact flavours of citrus, stone fruit, tree fruit and oak - with vanilla and a soft dusting of wood tannins. Drinking well now though youthful still. Best from 2019 through 2026.

Auntsfield SV Pinot Noir 2015, Marlborough
Great bouquet of PN with a distinctive mix of red fruits and oak scents - dark cherry and plum, raspberry and crushed rose; plenty of new oak toasted wood with a vanilla, clove and hint of chocolate. On the palate - dry, youthful with abundant tannins and acidity to match; complex and layered with plenty of fruit at the core, lengthy and complex-building finish. Drink now and through 2025.
