Tohu ‘Rore Reserve’ Pinot Noir 2015 Marlborough
Fabulous bouquet of Pinot Noir with a complex and layered nose; aromas of savoury dried herb and whole bunch complexity, a concentration of dark red berries – baked raspberry, red currants and black cherry, toasty, nutty baked brazil-nut oak with brown spices and clove/vanilla. On the palate – youthful and complex with a vibrato of texture tannins and acidity; flavours of dark cherry and plum, some spices and core of concentration. Lengthy finish reveals more as the wine opens-up. A wine to cellar or enjoy if decanted. Best from now and through 2028.
