Chapel Hill

Chapel Hill Bush Vine Grenache 2014 McLaren Vale, Australia
Engaging and quite a complex bouquet of Grenache with aromas and flavours of heirloom plum and old flowers, aged wood spices and some clove brown spice combinations. Cherry and red apple, plums and some cranberry moments; Plenty of acidity and fine tannins, warm. Balanced and well made, dry finish. Best drinking from now and through 2026.

Chapel Hill Bush Vine Grenache 2016 McLaren Vale, Australia
Youthful, punchy, fruity and very enticing bouquet. Cranberry, plum and red cherry aromas with some blueberry then scents of oak. On the palate – crisp, crunchy, firm and youthful with noticeable acidity, oak and fruit; quite dry. Plenty of tannins to add texture and length – firm in nature. Overall a wine still on its journey to harmony, but with plenty of potential and length. Decant for service. Best from 2020 through 2030+.
