Rockburn Pinot Noir 2013 Central Otago
Enticing bouquet of soft red berry fruits, brown spices and a light savory layer. There's a light stony mineral quality and some dried herb adding depth and complexity. On the palate - generous, fruity, lightly spiced and quite complete - flavors reflect the nose with plentiful fine dusty tannins; medium+ acidity and obvious yet moderate oak layer. A lovely wine overall, balanced and well made with immediate drinkability and cellarbility too for at least 3-5 years.
