Sacred Hill

Sacred Hill 'Virgin' Chardonnay 2014 Hawke's Bay
Floral, mineral, fruity and calm. Aromas of white flowers with a seamless transition into wet stone mineral with a light lees complexity (& sulphides aromatic); zero oak promoting a pure expression of fruit. On the palate - dry, fresh, crisp and packed with texture and flavour - lots of citrus flavour with lemon and grapefruit peel, red apple and white peach - a fabulous example of how Chardonnay does not need oak to be great.
