Church Road Winery Syrah 2013 Hawke's Bay
Light to medium red fruits with a mix of raspberry, plum, black currant and dark cherry; mild to moderate oak tones with a toasty side; mild to moderate pepper tones and generous rich bouquet. On the palate - dry, fruity, peppery, spicy and full of Syrah character; decent concentration of flavours with dark berry fruit flavours; mild to moderate tannins, medium acidity and generous finish. A lovely example of HB Syrah with a medium to medium+ weight and finish.
