Mahana Estate 'Clays and Gravels' Riesling 2014 Nelson
'Classic' Riesling bouquet with aromas of crisp green apple, lemon and grapefruit; white flowers and steely almost silty mineral. On the palate - just dry with a nudge of sugar, lots of acidity forcing the wine into a dry finish and emphasising the mineral; plenty of lemon and apple flavours and a distinctive flavour of lime. Moderate to moderate + length, well made and suitable as an aperitif; drinking now and through 2021.
