Te Mania Pinot Noir 2014 Nelson
Varietal Pinot Noir bouquet with aromas of wild red berries, flowers and soil; cranberry and cherry with red plum then stony silty mineral qualities adding complexity and a little mystery then wild flowers and whispers of oak - overall a nicely packaged bouquet. On the palate - fruity, dry and all Pinot with fruit flavours that reflect the nose, mild to moderate oak spice and toastiness, lots of soil, lots of charm, a layer of floral, fine tannins and medium+ acidity. Balanced and well made example - suitable for early drinking and through 2019.
