Craggy Range

Craggy Range Sophia Gimblett Gravels 2014 Hawke's Bay
(Merlot/Cabernet Sauvignon/Cabernet Franc/Petit Verdot)
Pungent and concentrated bouquet of ripe red berry fruits, dark red berry fruits, spiced French oak and intense complexity that changes with each new minute in the glass. On the palate - medium+ bodied, complex, compelling and rich in flavours and textures; no mistaking the oak with bacon and brown spices, dark red berry fruits and a youthful yet complex structure; bold to fine tannins, medium+ acidity, fabulous balance and length, A fine wine.

Craggy Range 'Aroha' Pinot Noir 2014 Te Muna Martinborough
Fragrant, pretty, complex and bordering beguiling with aromas of red flowers and red berry fruits, a range of spices with vanilla and cinnamon. On the palate - dry, layered, ripe red berry fruits, sweet English tea, nice core of acidity, plenty of oak, texture, fine tannins and long finish. Youthful, yet fine with a long ageing tme ahead. Decant for service. Best drinking from 2017 through 2025.
