Misha's Vineyard

Misha's Vineyard 'The High Note' Pinot Noir 2011 Central Otago
Tense, focused, youthful and complex - a plethora of aromas from wild rose to cherry, autumn leaves to cranberry, minerals to oak spices. On the palate - equally intense and engaging with a taut and focused structure led by abundant tannins offering finer textures, medium+ acidity and oak - then - a core of light red fruits and gentle spices; overall a tight and tension filled wine with plenty of time in bottle ahead; complex and true to Pinot Noirs' messages of allure and mystery. Drink now if decanted otherwise continue to cellar and enjoy from 2018 through 2025.

Misha's Vineyard 'The High Note' Pinot Noir 2012 Central Otago
Generous aroma filled Pinot Noir bouquet with suggestions of ripe light red fruits and spices of oak; loads of cherry and wild raspberry tones, crushed rose and rocky mineral moments. On the palate - dry, plenty of spice then fruit in the attack, tense and focused tannins & acidity add key structural layers contrasting the core of fruit mid-palate; the oak is fresh, youthful and beginning to integrate through the juice adding to the complexity and length - both are significant. A long finish - tense and young. Decant for service a few hours ahead of a main meal or wait then enjoy from 2019 through 2027.

Misha's Vineyard 'The Cadenza' LH Gewurztraminer 2015 Central Otago
Enticing fragrances of sweet rose and spice, juicy white fleshed fruits and pineapple, the aroma of palm sugar and carmelised apple are significant. On the palate - sweet and juicy with gentle spices and contrasting acidity; flavours of white fleshed fruits, a little lychee and dried pineapple lead to a long and graceful finish. Delicious!
