Raspberry pink hues and very shiny appearance with a bouquet of light red fruits - bing cherry and red melon with suggestions of lihgt red strawberry and plum, simple fresh and crisp. On the palate - just dry with some sweetness as well as ripe red berry fruit flavours, crisp too with plenty of acidity leading to a juicy and lengthy finish. Balanced, redy to enjoy through Summer 2017.

Ripe, juicy, fruity bouquet with fleshy white tree fruit of pear and apple - just picked and poached versions; a hint of white pepper spice and a stony mineral layer. On the palate - juicy, fresh, crisp and dry with flavours of white peach, pear and apple, the white pepper returns enhanced by the warming alcohol, a touch of sweetness and crisp acidity; overall a balanced and well made wine offering immediate drinkability and through 2017.
Mount Michael 'Bessie's Block' Pinot Noir 2013 Central Otago
Ripe, fragrant, plush and packed with pinosity - the bouquet shows off dark red cherry and dried raspberry aromas with dried herb and stony mineral tones, youthful with developing complexity. On the palate - dry, firm and youthful with plenty of fine and rough silk tannin textures as well as medium+ acidity; flavours of dried raspberry leading into cherry and plum tones and oak; youthful, fruity, firm and dry with a lengthy finish ending in a dried herb note. Drink now if decanted or from 2019 through 2026 if cellared correctly.

Ripe, fruity and quiet bouquet with plenty of light red fruit aromas showing red cherry, a mix of raspberry and red beet ideas and dried herb. On the palate - dry, fresh, ripe and fruity with flavours of red berries and red apple skin with a touch of red beet, some dried herb adds depth and complexity, fine tannins and plenty of acidity with medium oak tones. A nicely packaged wine with decent length and harmony; drink now if decanted or enjoy from 2018 through 2024 if cellared correctly.
