Greywacke

Greywacke 'Wild Sauvignon' Marlborough 2010
Nose: Complex - a mix of stony soils, sweet and dry herb, lemon, light white peach and white flower. There is a prickly nettle-like suggestion - a wild Sauvignon Blanc bouquet.
Five Stars

Palate: Dry and vibrant with a stony, white flower and citrus centered flavor. The nettles note returns in a more rounded fashion; Hints of lees and wild ferment flavors add complexity and textures. A delicious and sophisticated example that demonstrates that Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is evolving into something even more exciting!
