Nose:A specific focus on flavor development and fruit integration with a mix of tree fruit, tangerine citrus and white fleshed fruit both juiced and aged. A savory note adds complexity. A lees - like note adds additional complexity.
Palate: A fruit skin spice from pear and apple combined with a light savory note makes this wine very appealing on the palate. The alcohol is not a detractor (14.5%). There is a well tuned balance between the fruit, alcohol and savory elements. Perhaps some old barrel influence. Overall a dry finishing wine with medium+ acidity - great drinking now and through 2013.
