Tatty Bogler

Tatty Bogler 2010 Pinot Gris Central Otago
Nose: A savory, fruity and stony complexity greets the nose; typical apple skin and pear skin suggestions with a light citrus appeal (grape fruit and tangerine). Moderate complexity, youthful and inviting aromatics.
5 Stars

Palate: Just off-dry with a definitive citrus then tree fruit flavors - yum!
I really like the contrast from nose to palate with this wine - there is of course varietal white flesh fruit signatures, but with additional citrus fruit profile this wine shows an 'X' factor I'm sure many who drink Pinot Gris will like.
The texture is also a feature with this wine, medium+ acidity and length, balanced and well made.
