(Tasted at the Taj Hotel - Wine Maker's Dinner June 19th 2012)
Nose: A gentle aromatic start, but then a wave of juicy fruits emerges - yet still with an appealing softness. There is Pinosity here too - cherry and strawberry suggestions, rose perfumes and red apple skin.
Palate: Reflects the nose with a sediment/soil suggestion embraced by fine tannins and yet another layer of juicy fruit flavors. Some gentle brown spice notes reflect the use of oak. Although a little warm on the palate this wine is balanced and well made.
