Kidnapper Cliffs

Kidnapper Cliffs Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2013, Gimblett Gravels, Hawkes Bay
Attractive varietal bouquet packed with aromas of ripe Cabernet with blackberry, ripe green capsicum and a hint of marmite. The Merlot voices loud as well with spicy black plum; some dark rose and violet notes along with a tobacco oak and clove suggestion. On the palate – ripe, dark red berry fruits and plum; plenty of dark brown spices, tannins and acidity; quite concentrated and persistent finish. Decanting recommended. Best drinking from 2020 through 2035.
