Yealands Estate SV Pinot Noir 2016, Awatere valley, Marlborough
Ripe, fruity, packed with aromas of brown spice, red cherry and plum. On the palate – youthful, crisp, fruit centric with cherry, raspberry and red berry fruit flavours, fine tannins, brown spices of clove and cinnamon; contrasting acidity. Dry finish, balanced and well made – quite lengthy. Drink now and through 2024.

Yealands Estate SV Tempranillo 2016, Awatere valley, Marlborough
Plush and vibrant red fruited bouquet packed with aromas of raspberry and black cherry; some red liquorice, light peppery spice, sweet meat, a hint of whole berry carbonic maceration and vanilla oak tones.  On the palate – juicy, lush, fruity and dry; flavours reflect the bouquet with vibrant acidity to match the core of fruit, fine to moderate tannins, balanced and well made. Drink now and through 2024.
