Sacred Hill

Sacred Hill ‘Helmsman’ CS/Mer/CF 2015 Hawkes Bay
Smoky, ripe, oaky and dark fruited bouquet. Aromas of blackberry, black currant and Doris plums, fresh, ripe and concentrated; youthful, spicy and new oak scents with clove and vanilla; sweet hay and some fresh cigar tobacco. On the palate – full-bodied, war, rich, fruity, spicy, oaky and dry. Flavours reflect the nose with plenty of wood spices and dark fruit flavours, smoky and toasty, sweet hay, violets and plums flavours; plenty of acidity, medium+ tannins with chalk & mealy textures; long finish and great potential. Drink now if you must and only if decanted, frankly best from 2022 through 2035.
