St Hugo

St Hugo Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 South Australia
Dark and toasty oak bouquet heavily fruit centric with blackberry and dark plum, cacao oak and clove scents, a roasted bell-pepper and herbaceous tobacco layer. On the palate – full-bodied, dark fruity, oaky and dry; flavours of oak, dark fruits and dark spices alongside the tobacco and bell-pepper flavours all add up to an engaging example. Abundant tannins with a range of texture from dusty to chalky to powdery. Even, lengthy and tasty. Always well made from the St Hugo team. Drink now and through 2030.
